About us

10 mature organisations originating from 7 CE regions have joined their know-how and technology competences under  CE Interreg project CEUP 2030. The aim of the project was to generate stable innovation network which foster better understanding on Central Europe Advanced Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 (“CAMI4.0”) topics, to generate improved knowledge resource exchange on these technologies leading to an upgraded framework for policy-making and implementation.

The project started in 2020 with a total funding of 1.1 million Euros and was coordinated by the Krakow Technology Park (Poland).  Partners from Austria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, and Slovenia have come together to join forces and create and tests a common method to promote improved knowledge dissemination to policy-making stakeholders using a collaborative exchange framework based in physical and digital-methods. These methods and the technology use-cases disseminated within the project, are harvested from existing, high-quality innovation know-how in the CE area.

CEUP 2030 synergized the outputs and results of six EU funded twin projects, which helped create strong linkages between the stakeholders and in the further propagation of these results. Joint innovation strategies for 2021-2027 and action plans were created by the project consortium. CEUP 2030 involved 30 CE/EU regions and 100 stakeholders from different target groups directly in the project work and addressed at least 250 further ones via conferences.

Throughout the project, various regional workshops and transnational events were conducted connecting regional and international stakeholders, such as the Policy learning Labs and tech trend dialog meetings, with the focus of highlighting the latest developments being made in academia and newest requirements of Industry on policy makers. The specialized trend and innovation networks were established during the project and will continue to function even after the completion of the project. The aim is to facilitate joint digitalization and advanced manufacturing projects in Central and Easter Europe by fostering the robust innovation system approach created by CEUP 2030.

One of the final output of  CEUP 2030 Project is the Policy Intelligence Dashboard, which gives snapshots on the current research and innovation ecosystem across central Europe and proves an effective way for all stakeholder groups to receive the latest information on funding opportunities, scientific developments, trend radar analysis, flagship project and best practices.

The project has furthered pathways for enhancing partners’s strategic cooperation with Central European actors and 20 different follow-up flagship projects have also been launched, some of which have already seen successful funding, while other await evaluation results from EU and National funding schemes such as Horizon Europe.
